One Path to AICP (New)

The new One Path to AICP streamlines the certification process.
Becoming AICP-certified is more streamlined than ever, and you may submit your education verification and experience assessment the month after passing the exam.
IT’S SIMPLE - All members pursuing the AICP credential will follow the same three-step sequence.
START EARLY - By allowing members to take the AICP Certification Exam regardless of their progress toward earning professional planning experience, more students and professionals will be able to start their AICP journey earlier.
STAND OUT - Students and New Planners: Upon passing the exam you can distinguish yourself to colleagues and potential employers by using the “AICP Candidate” designation on resumes and online as you gain required professional experience to complete the certification process.
